Kanye West backing video
Kanye West was on SNL on Saturday:
I was honestly not that impressed by his performance (though I think the way hip hop artists are using auto-tuners in live settings is really funny and sounds totally strange), but was really, really into the video in the background. Something about it reminds me of one of my favorite artists, the late Jeremy Blake:
I've been making some video of my own to project behind CHAMBERS when we play, which you can see in a couple photos from Strike of the Synapse:

I'll post some more clips of interesting stuff later! (I'm technically working right now)

I got it!

My Korg DS-10 cartridge came in the mail yesterday (all the way from Japan!). I'm too impatient to wait for the US release so I ordered it off of eBay. I haven't gotten to mess around with it too much (can't wait to try it through my Kaoss Pad), but will post some thoughts on it asap. My lunch breaks will never be the same!

chambers
A couple months ago I started a new band, Chambers, with Dawn, Andrew and Gareth. We recently started recording a demo, and have made a Myspace page and a blog en lieu of a website.
Also, you can also always check out my old/other bands, Death of a Party and Red Voice Choir.
